Prepping a meal or appetizer can take a lot of work, let this simple recipe add to your next dinner menu and simplify your dishes & ease the pressure.

So what is Brie?

Brie is a soft, buttery cheese that originally comes from France but is produced internationally as well. It is characterized with a creamy interior and a soft, edible rind of white mold. Brie is traditionally made from cow’s milk but can also be made from goat’s milk (and oats😉). The cheese is high in fat and rich in calcium with relatively high sodium content. It’s also a good source of protein and vitamins A and B-6.

One of the key ingredients in our Classic Brie is the use of Oats, which makes it just as creamy and filled with the same vitamins and nutrients (without the dairy).

Let’s Talk Toppings

Brie can be topped with anything your heart desires (truly). Some of our favorite ways to eat baked brie are with Raspberry Jam Puree, Fig + Nut Mixtures, Dried Fruit.

Whether it be walnuts, pecans, pistachios and or hazelnuts. These toppings are essentially a great addition for baked brie dishes.

How to Bake Brie

  • Place the wheel of non-dairy classic brie into a cast-iron skillet or an oven-safe dish.
  • Use a knife or the back of a spoon, or just go crazy and pour out your choice of mixture onto the brie.
  • Bake the cheese in an oven heated to 350°F for about 10 minutes.

It’s that simple!

Let’s dive in to the recipe…

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup choice of raspberries

  • Top it with the raspberry and nut mixture.
  • Place the skillet on top of a baking sheet.
